A Fun Week At The Police Department

Join Officer Lambert on a fun adventure exploring a week at the Police Department!

When searching for books to read at various events and only finding books with outdated terms and equipment, it became clear that an updated glimpse into police work was greatly needed.  This book highlights positive relationships and interactions between Police Officers and the community they serve while exploring different tasks that Officers get to do on a daily basis.

We are excited to partner with Janelle Vargo, a fantastic artist who has captured the vision and the heart behind this book project. With examples of inclusion, friendship and fun this book is ideal for law enforcement agencies across the nation to share with children in their own communities. It is our hope that A Fun Week at the Police Department will not only showcase modern policing but also spark an interest in a young child to one day serve their community as a Police Officer.
